Today was a big day for a number of reasons. First it was our half way celebration! Second, we did 91 miles, 75 of it were with a tailwind! We made it to De Smet by around 12:30! Of course when we arrived we celebrated with a Dairy Queen stop. I think we are traveling across america one Ice Cream parlor at a time 😀.
Again, not much to really see today but a very enjoyable ride with the cooler temperatures and tailwinds. Oh, we are back into more populated areas now. We were able to stop to refuel at 2 gas stations! What a treat!
Terri and I are really enjoying the camaraderie of riding together and sharing in the work. Tonight we are camping out in a beautiful park with lots of shade trees.
Stats: 90 miles, 1,027 feet of elevation
